Rain Water Damage

A home owner in Calabasas, CA called SERVPRO of Chatsworth/Stevenson Ranch when her roof began leaking during a stormy night, casing water to puddle in her living room. The storm water affected her living room drywall and carpet. SERVPRO of Chatsworth/Stevenson Ranch surveyed the damage and after cutting inspection holes found mold growth throughout the ceiling, walls and in the carpeting. We set up containment around the damage and set up air scrubbers to begin filtering the contaminants in the air. SERVPRO of Chatsworth/Stevenson Ranch began removing the contaminated drywall from both the walls and ceiling and removed the damaged carpeting and pad. We disinfected and HEPA vacuumed the cavities and sealed them with plastic containment. The living room was now clean and dry and ready for repairs.
