Supply line water damage
A condo owner in La Crescenta, CA experienced a large water loss when the hot water supply line burst underneath her bathroom vanity. Water affected the wall behind the vanity, the vanity, the laminate flooring, bedroom carpeting and the ceiling of the living room downstairs. The owner called SERVPRO of Chatsworth/Stevenson Ranch immediately and our team arrived to assess the damage. We started by setting up high powered fans to begin drying the wet materials and a dehumidifier to stabilize the environment. Next, SERVPRO of Chatsworth/Stevenson Ranch set up containment in the lower area and removed the wet ceiling drywall. In the bathroom we detached the vanity and cut out the wall behind and removed the laminate flooring. SERVPRO of Chatsworth/Stevenson Ranch found the carpets dried well and only removed the carpet padding in the bedroom. This condo owner was thrilled with how quickly everything was dried and called out her contractor right away to finish the job!
